Summer = Super sxy swimwear. It’s a mathematical equation - it just works. I’m about to show you two of my favorite looks that I plan on flaunting at the beach this summer!

First up is an amazing creation from Frozen Turquoise Valentine (FTV). This suit is so dangerously seductive, cleverly covering where it is needed, but showing flashes of skin for a very hot look. The suit has a royal purple color on the strips of fabrics covering my delicate bits and a light lavender fabric with polka dots extending down my torso. There is a great attention to detail with the metal clasps holding the suit together. I’ve added to this look a cute bob style from Truth. Good news - it’s free! Jess is a really spunky style that is perfect for that beachy look. For accessories I’ve used the Paulin earrings from Addoro and J’s Tassele Wedge Sole Sandals in Beige.

The next bathing suit is a great release from .tga swimwear. This is more of a sporty look, but it will still have heads turning and tongues wagging! The suit is a great olive tone with lime accents in asymmetrical stripes along the bust and on the bottoms. I’ve paired this look with the African Necklace in Beige and Green from So Many Styles. When I saw this necklace, I knew immediately I had to have it! The necklace comes in 4 different colors and has a matching bracelet, which is sold separately. Finishing the look is some super sassy hair from W&Y. I have been sporting W&Y hair a lot lately. They have made some really amazing and versatile hair lately and I can’t wait for what they have in store for the future!

Although I have no problem dropping several thousands of linden in a single shopping trip (when Jack lets me) - there’s something exciting about great free items or great deals as well! Who doesn’t enjoy gifts and the after-Christmas sales? Today, here’s a few great finds straight from my closet to yours!

First, the skirt in the photos above was available in the lucky chair at M’z Studio. I am not sure if it is still there to be honest but it is only L$88 to purchase and the possibilities with this skirt are truly endless! It is also available in red, green, brown, dark brown, and of course the black you see above. There is also a fat pack available for only L$365.

On the left, I’ve paired the skirt with the top available in one of the freebies found here. The name of the shop is Bijou but it’s not the Bijou that you are probably most familiar with. The designer behind this store is Moirana Rhiadra, a german or dutch designer I believe. As you can see from this top, there are some cute things here though very different from Bijou by Kotobuki Jewell.

The shirt I am wearing under the Bijou top and under the Love Lace corset in this photo is Alphamale Femme’s classic shirt in Silver. It’s not a freebie but for only L$385 for a 3-pack of shirts and the great versatility of them - I definitely think it falls into the great deals category.

The shirt on the left in the second picture is one I just fell in LOVE with from BLAND.  I picked it up when I went to the preview of the Corrupted Innocence SIM. Corrupted Innocence is a hot, new shapes store by well-known shape designer Kira Paderborn and Alexxis Laszlo. It’s also the home to many great designers and creators including Kakaue Kreation, Jimmy Chau Shoes, Tuli Skins, FAD, Pazazz Hair, Piece of Candy, Bland, KPI Fashion, Intrigue Pose, and ElDee. The sim is a really nice one for shopping. It has a very crisp and clean decor and a very nice map right at the landing point which I really appreciate on a personal level. 

The belt I am wearing in these photos is from another outfit I have - City Nights by Ashoka Eales of Phoenix Rising. I am always very happy when pieces of one outfit work well in other pairings! This particular belt was a little large on me and it is no copy. I am infamous for messing up prim things when I try to edit them (just ask the numerous designers I have IMed and asked for replacement skirts :P) so I decided that I would finally try out the re-size script that is available free from Scripts R’ Us. It worked like a charm and was really super easy to install. I will definitely be using this trick much more in the future!

The corset I am wearing on the right is Love Lace <3 Bianca from Pixel Dolls in gray. When I put together this outfit I thought that this corset was one of the many, generous group gifts from Pixel Dolls but upon further investigation - I am not positive about that. Either way, the corset set is only L$140 if you buy it and if you aren’t already a member of the Pixel Dolls update group you should definitely join! Generous is not really sufficient to describe their gifts to the group.

I think it’s official, I’m definitely a “Gracie Girl”!  Grace Winnfield sent over a few of her items from her store Gracie’s and I thought they were so cute, I had to blog ‘em!  I really loved the Sassy gown: a vibrant red Christmas themed party dress with two choices of skirt (long multilayered gown and multilayered cocktail length), perfect for holiday parties.  She also included an adorable set of Christmas lingerie which is FREE until December 26.
