 I thought It was about time I did a post over here on the SXY2ND Blog. Shoes and boots have always been strongly connected to everything sexy in SL. With the recent excitement over at Stiletto Moody surrounding her Summer 2009 Collection, one very tall, very sexy, boot has been a bit overlooked - and was certainly an unexpected release to have as part of a Summer Collection. But here in SL where I rarely work up a sweat from modeling and blogging, it is a much easier thing to do to enjoy an honest thigh high boot, like these killer sexy SkyHigh Boots fromStiletto Moody.

 To Get the best look from these I opted to wear the small size (medium and large are also included), and reduce my leg muscle mass about 7 points - this is barely noticeable since the boots themselves have a perfect shape. I did not have to do anything else to enjoy the boots, just wear them and go… but, what the heck do you wear with boots this sexy? My answer came from the GION Collection Show that was held on Saturday evening - Hello Smexy Prim Bikinis! I have to admit I have tried a few on before, and no luck at all, they took a ton of work to fit them to my shape - and then looked pretty silly. The new sculpted and size scripted version from COCO is a vast improvement, and this is only one of 3 variations in the new collection. I did go with a smaller breast version of my shape, the fit is really superb on the upper body. The bikini bottom all sculpted and sexy has some very interesting indentations… hehe… and was a bit trickier to fit, bit I was still very happy with the result after some minor adjustments.

So there we have it. A sexy primmy look - and not a stitch of system clothing on me! Let’s hope these sculpt rez up fast when I turn up in public wearing this outfit… or better yet maybe I’ll just stay home and wait for an excuse to ‘detach’.

When I do a blog post on outfits to wear for a certain occasion I try to limit myself to three of them. I figure any more than that and you’ll get bored (though you are probably bored already come to think of it.)  In the case of this blog post I just couldn’t decide so you’re getting 4 - think of it as buy 3 get 1 free!

Anyway, June is typically the most popular month for weddings and that seems to be the same in RL and SL and whether the wedding you are attending is inSL or not - you’re going to worry about what to wear.

Belle to the rescue! Ok, well at least maybe I’ll give you some ideas.

First we have this lovely blue satin dress from G SLOANE COUTURE. This shope was new-to0me but the textures and movement in this piece is lovely. I will definitely be putting this on my places to check back to regularly. The shoes are Adam n Eve’s Jaydie pumps in blue - love, love, love the texture on these shoes! I picked them up at last year’s shoe fair. The lovely jewelry was a gift in honor of my RL birthday from my friend Hibiscus Flossberg, the designer behind *~.PUARANGI DESIGNS~*. This is one of her newer releases - Art Deco and I love the simplicity and the great textures on this piece.

I can’t show you summertime clothing without showing something in my favorite color - yellow.  The {Zaara} Calangute *sunshine* is not one of the newest releases but it’s one of the few items in my inventory that I wear over and over. The Jacket layer (which contains all of the multi colored belts) has been used by me in several outfits! To compliment the outfit I’m wearing the colored version of Zaara’s Nizam Choodiya bangles and the -=UZURI=- Quest Ear Rings and Necklace which believe it or not is a freebie! It’s a simple but beautiful earthy wood set that looks great with so many things! 

A few months ago Anyusha Lilienthal of Ibizarre - one of the nicest and most generous designers I have met - had an AMAZING sale and I went a bit crazy (what’s new?). One of my great finds was this beautiful dress. I also missed it because it was named as Black Satin Dress and I don’t typically wear black to weddings but the lovely mixture of blues and greys is perfect. J’s Cross Belt Pumps and Ume Mode’s stone change necklace and earrings completed the outfit for me.

Anyusha Lilienthal of Ibizarre was gracious enough to create a custom version of her great beach bag and included the June issue of SXY2ND inside the bag. This bag was available for our VIPs and guests at the Launch party several weeks ago but if you visit the SXY2ND headquarters and cast your vote for our Reader’s Choice Award you can still get a great beach bag courtesy of Ibizarre and SXY2ND

Last, but certainly not least is Beau Monde’s Michelle in Teal. Beau Monde originally started out with a great selection of classic black dresses perfect for any occasion but recently branched out into other colors. A collaboration between the amazing sense of style of Mallory Luke, known best as her role as founder of Opium Fashion Agency, and the high quality design talent of Forda Fairlane of Haute Style & Co - it’s a match made in heaven for those of us who love fashion.

There you have it - four very different looks all appropriate for those summer weddings your receiving invites for!

So Nickee and Leilani have both shared their favorite white hot dresses and now it’s my turn!

Marilyn Monroe made this style of dress famous in the movie Seven Year Itch. Shai Delacroix of Casa Del Shai made it possible for us to feel like Marilyn Monroe in SL with this dress appropriately named Seven Year Itch Dress. The set comes with a scripted skirt and you can make it constantly billow in the wind or turn it off and of course there are glitch shorts so that even when your skirt blows up you are appropriately covered - much to the dismay of several male avatars I know.

This last dress is by a new-to-me designer VNP Ninetails and the brand .::Vassnia::. This dress is called Pie and comes in a ton of colors. The revealing back and plunging neckline in the front make it a super-sexy choice for formal wear. Vassnia is also one of the dwindling number of stores that have transferrable items so go ahead and grab a friend and agree to share colors and outfits and it’s like a 2 for 1 sale!

So, why have we been showing you all these sexy white dresses this week? The dress code for the the Launch party this evening is WHITE! See you there!

The Love Lace Bianca corset I was wearing over the Alphamale shirt in my earlier post also makes for SXY lingerie! Here it is shown with the chemise that comes with it and the panties from the Brandy set from Reasonable Desires (shown below).

Brandy is available at Reasonable Desires for only L$20 and as if that wasn’t enough of a reason to run right down and pick it up now - it is tintable! The set includes the bra, panties, panties with garters, and stockings and directions on how to tint in case you’ve never tried tinting anything in SL before. That means for only L$20 you can have an unlimited number of colors. Match any outfit you have! In the top photo I tinted the panties grey to match the Love Lave corset. On the left in the photo above I’ve tinted the set a deep sapphire blue and on the right a deep crimson red. This is a great deal if I’ve ever seen one!

 The set above is from a new-to-me store called *Rattenscharf*. This set is called Seductive Beauty and it’s shown above in black with the baby doll attachment. The set sales for a mere L$165 but I received a L$100 gift card from one of my groups (Vain probably but I’m not positive). The gift card is what prompted me to visit the store in the first place and I ended up getting the entire outfit for only L$65!

The customer service for this place is also superb! After my purchase, the owner/designer sent me an IM to thank me and offered me an invite to her update group and let me know that she gives everyone a L$100 gift card as a welcome gift. I thanked her and then politely declined because all of my group spots are full and the dear sweet lady gave me another gift card anyway! I’ll definitely be back to visit again! 

The hair I am wearing in the photo above is Portia in Kohl from Philotic Energy. This particular style and color were part of a gift box sent out to fashion bloggers during last week’s Blogger Appreciation Week that the Amazing Callie Cline organized. I hadn’t been to PR in quite a while and I am used to seeing much edgier things from them so I will have to visit them again soon. I hear this weekend is a great time because they are having a 25-50% off sale this weekend! 
 

And finally, a last minute addition!

When Samsara Nishi of Sam’s Secret posted photos of her new lingerie set on Flickr earlier this week, I made a note to go check it out. When she sent out a group notice this afternoon that she had reduced the price of one color by 50% for the weekend (making it only L$50), I knew I shouldn’t put it off any longer! Of course, Sam is so fast she dropped me a copy before I could hit the TP button!

The shoes I am wearing above are Pixel Mode’s Lush stilletos in Liquid (which looks a lot like black to me!). Pixel Mode has everything in their store on sale for L$50 this weekend. EVERYTHING! It might take a couple of times to TP in. The sim has been full several times throughout this evening but persistence will pay off in the form of some great deals on shoes and clothing!

And last but certainly not least, Cupcakes is having one of their amazing L$25 sales so be sure to check that out this weekend too! (Sorry, I ran out of time so no photo but I own most of the store if you want any opinion on something :-)
